The Seton Hall Legislative Journal will host its annual Symposium on February 3, 2011, to address the impact of Governor Christie’s decision to break with tradition and not reappoint Justice John E. Wallace, Jr. Specifically, this event will focus on judicial independence issues generally, with a particular focus on New Jersey. This event will also examine what has been called the “politicization” of the New Jersey Supreme Court and will attempt to predict how future appointments will be decided.
