Radio Interviews with Msgr. John M. Oesterreicher

Msgr. John M. Oesterreicher used the radio in the 1930s during the Nazi period to present an analysis of the errors of the time and for clarification of the balanced message of Christian faith and human reason.

Years later after founding the Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies, Msgr. Oesterreicher established "The Kinship of Catholics & Jews" radio program at Seton Hall University, continuing his tradition of promoting the shared values of Christians and Jews over the airwaves.

"The Kinship of Catholics & Jews" is still broadcast today on WSOU 89.5 FM every Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. and is moderated by the Institute's current director, the Rev. Lawrence E. Frizzell. Podcasts of shows can also be accessed on our Podbean channel here.

The recordings below are some of the first "Kinship" shows, which were broadcast in the early 1990s.
