Abstract

The Reverend Dr. Peter Pettit presented the lecture, “'Semper Reformanda’ at 500: Old and New Questions for Christians and Jews,” as the 24th Monsignor John M. Oesterreicher Memorial Lecture at Seton Hall University on October 26, 2017.

Long involved in Christian-Jewish dialogue, Dr. Pettit is the founding Chair of the Council of Centers on Jewish-Christian Relations and is an active leader in several other national and international organizations.

He co-directed the educational project, “New Paths: Christians Engaging Israel,” and currently co-directs the annual Shalom Hartman Institute (Jerusalem) Interreligious Theology Conference and “Interfaith Partners 4 Peace.”
