Description

Revelations In Rubble has been curated by Professor Arline Lowe of the Department of Art and Music and features twelve artists whose work suggest significant artifacts, that if uncovered at some future archaeological excavation during the next millennium, would reveal much about the social, political, and spiritual climate of our time. The exhibit is, as titled, reflective in nature. Do these pieces of art capture what our society has left for the next millennium? The Walsh Gallery invites you to explore the ideas of the assembled artists. Are there other elements of the 20th century that you believe should be presented? Hopefully this exhibit will cause all guests to enjoy what is presented, but also to think of what lies ahead with the challenges and the opportunities that await all.
